Many thanks for your e-mail. It is great to hear from you!

There are so many things that play a role when making your repository content highly visible and robot friendly.

Important is that the Google Site Map on DSpace is set up correctly. I cc Hilton should he want to advise.

Re IRSpace: I have added the following URL to the search engine: http://uctscholar.uct.ac.za/ Is this correct?
I have tested all and searched for the following title in your repository, using IRSpace: Tracking Knowledge: Science, Tracking, and Technology

IRSpace managed to find it perfectly, which is the main aim. If the search term openuct is not part of the metadata harvested by Google, then IRSpace won't find it.

Hi Ina

Thanks for the reminder about IRSpace. My initial task at UCT Libraries is to see that the IR has been registered and being harvested. I've used the list that Hilton put together on SUN wiki. OpenUCT IR has been registered with Google Scholar and is being indexed by the search engine. However, when I put "openuct" in the search box of IRSpace, then it doesn't appear in the results list. Do you know what the reason for that is?
