Universiteit Stellenbosch insluitende die Biblioteek- en Inligtingsdiens, ondersteun oop toegang tot navorsingsinligting. Lees gerus meer oor die verskillende inisiatiewe by ons Universiteit vanaf die Oop Toegang webbladsy<http://library.sun.ac.za/Afrikaans/services/az/oa/Pages/default.aspx>. Hierdie inisiatiewe sluit onder meer die volgende in:


-          SUNScholar<http://library.sun.ac.za/Afrikaans/services/az/oa/Pages/sunscholar.aspx>:  Oop toegang-elektroniese argief vir die versameling, bewaring en verspreiding van digitale materiaal geskep deur navorsers van Universiteit Stellenbosch, wat van groot akademiese navorsingsbelang is.

-          SUNJournals:<http://library.sun.ac.za/Afrikaans/services/az/oa/Pages/sunjournals.aspx> 'n Diens om oop toegang-wetenskaplike tydskrifte te huisves. Dit is 'n gesamentlike poging van die Biblioteek- en Inligtingsdiens, akademiese departemente en ander eenhede verbonde aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch, ter ondersteuning van die missie en strategie van die Universiteit.

-          SUNConferences:<http://library.sun.ac.za/Afrikaans/services/az/oa/Pages/sunconferences.aspx> Huisves, bestuur en publiseer konferensies en konferensie-referate elektronies.

Oplaai van tesisse met die oog op die Desember 2012-gradeplegtigheid
Departemente kan gerus voortgaan met die nominering, oplaai, en goedkeur van tesisse. Die afsnydatum is 29 November 2012. Vir meer inligting oor die Universiteitsbeleid en die prosedure, kliek hier<http://library.sun.ac.za/Afrikaans/howdoi/Pages/Submit-my-thesis-online.aspx>.

Retrospektiewe oplaai van tesisse en artikels
Heelwat items in SUNScholar<http://scholar.sun.ac.za/> bevat die volteks, maar daar is ook heelwat rekords waarvan die volteks ontbreek. Indien u ons van die volteks kan voorsien, of selfs die volledige verwysings kan gee, sou ons die lêers graag op SUNScholar wou laai. Kopiereg sal ook deur die SUNScholar-kantoor, in samewerking met ander belangrike rolspelers uitgeklaar word. Hierdie versoek is van toepassing op artikels en tesisse. Stuur asb. aan: scholar at sun.ac.za<mailto:scholar at sun.ac.za>

Berlin 10 Oop Toegang-konferensie

Indien u nog nie geregistreer het vir die konferensie nie, is daar nog geleentheid. US-personeel kan die konferensie bywoon teen R 1 650,00 p.p. Besigtig gerus die program<http://www.berlin10.org/programme.html>. Om te registreer, voltooi die vorm by: http://www.lib.sun.ac.za/b10/registration.html (slegs US-personeel)

Stellenbosch University including the Library and Information Service, supports open access to scholarly research. Uploading of theses for the December 2012 graduation

Retrospective theses and articles
Many items on SUNScholar<http://scholar.sun.ac.za/> have the full text attached, but unfortunately there are also many without the full text. If you can provide us with the full text of research articles (or full references to these) and theses from previous years, we would very much like to make these files available on SUNScholar after copyright has been cleared. Please send to: scholar at sun.ac.za<mailto:scholar at sun.ac.za>
