Oplaai van navorsingsmateriaal op SUNScholar
1. Wil jy graag 'n navorsingsitem oplaai op SUNScholar (http://scholar.sun.ac.za )? Registreer asb. eers as 'n e-persoon by http://scholar.sun.ac.za/ >> Register. Dit is 'n eenmalige proses.
2. Stuur dan 'n versoek aan scholar at sun.ac.za<mailto:scholar at sun.ac.za> , en dui aan binne watter versameling/s jy graag item/s wil oplaai.
3. Die SUNScholar-kantoor sal jou per e-pos kontak sodra jy as 'n "Submitter" vir 'n spesifieke versameling geregistreer is.

Submission of research material to SUNScholar
1. Want to submit a new research item to SUNScholar (http://scholar.sun.ac.za )? First register as an e-person at http://scholar.sun.ac.za/ >> Register. This is a once-off registration.
2. Then send a request to scholar at sun.ac.za<mailto:scholar at sun.ac.za> , indicating which Collection/s you want to submit to.
3. You will be notified by the SUNScholar Office once you have been registered as a Submitter for the Collection/s requested.
4. Once you have received notification that you have been registered, you can continue with submitting your item/s. Please submit text files in pdf format, and comprehensively describe the item to make it more retrievable.
Copyright
Publishers (copyright owners) have certain policies regarding depositing items in institutional repositories. Normally these policies are available on the SHERPA/RoMEO website (http://www.sherpa.ac.uk/romeo/ ), or on the website of individual publishers. Otherwise - negotiate with the publisher for permission to submit a second copy of e.g. an article on SUNScholar, or include the SPARC Addendum (http://www.arl.org/sparc/bm~doc/Access-Reuse_Addendum.pdf ) as part of your agreement with the publisher when publishing in future. Please submit the letter of consent together with the main research item. If you struggle getting permission, please allow us to help. Submit the item, and we will verify that copyright has been cleared as part of the workflow process, after which the item will then be made available on SUNScholar.
If you haven't sign away your copyright, published it in an Open Access journal, or just want to submit the pre-print, you can go ahead and submit without any consent from anyone.
