Aanbieders:  Ina Smith, Hilton Gibson, Paulette Talliard

SUNScholar is die amptelike volteks navorsingsbewaarplek van die Universiteit Stellenbosch en 'n beduidende nuwe ontwikkeling vir navorsing by die Universiteit. Gedurende die aanbieding sal getoon word hoe SUNScholar nie net kan help om die navorsingsprofiel van individuele navorsers te bevorder nie, maar ook die internasionale navorsingsprofiel van die Universiteit. Die aanbieders sal inligting voorsien oor hoe ver daar alreeds gevorder is, die belangrikheid van digitale bewaring sal aangespreek word, en 'n kort demonstrasie sal gegee word om te wys hoe maklik dit is om 'n item op SUNScholar te laai. Wyses waarop belangstellendes betrokke kan raak, sal ook gedeel word.

Presenters: Ina Smith, Hilton Gibson, Paulette Talliard

SUNScholar is the official full-text digital research repository of Stellenbosch University and a significant new development pertaining to research at the University.  During this presentation the presenters will share with you how SUNScholar can not only help increase the research profile of individual researchers, but also the research profile of Stellenbosch University internationally. Background will be given on progress made so far, we will address the importance of digital preservation, and a short demo will be given of how easy it is to submit an item to SUNScholar. Ways in which interested parties can become involved will also be shared.


This Happy Hour presentation will be open to other interested parties on campus
