IODD is an event that brings together open data community to learn, share, plan and collaborate on the future of open data. The unique nature of the event is to enable participants from various interdisciplinary backgrounds to define strategies that advance open data globally and locally, learn about recent advances in open data, with the vision that attendees will take their new insights back to their home institutions to grow a vibrant open data community Under the Theme “Open Data and Collaboration in Action” The event will address questions like;

  *   Opportunities and challenges of Open data
  *   Open data in driving sustainable development for smart cities
  *   Technological change such as digitization or block chain and their impact in science
  *   FAIR data in Agriculture for development
  *   Open data in achieving precision medicine and stratified healthcare
The program will include Keynote addresses, Q &A sessions and networking breaks
Time: 09.00 - 13.00 Date:
March 2nd, 2019

Venue: Moi University, Town Campus, 5th Floor Bazaar Plaza,  Moi Avenue, Nairobi, Kenya
