[IRTalk] Upcoming maintenance affecting the IRTalk mailing list - 2019-06-26

Dear IRTalk subscribers

We became aware of an issue with the mailman list server (which hosts IRTalk) today. This issue appears to have originated after the maintenance of 2019-06-26, and prevented some mail from being delivered. The server is currently processing the deferred mail queue, although some emails have unfortunately been lost in the meantime.

We have restored a complete backup of the mailing list configurations, including subscribers. If you unsubscribed after 2019-06-26, your subscription would have been reinstated now. You may also have received an email stating that the system unsubscribed you following excessive bounces, you may ignore such emails.

We sincerely apologise for the extended interruption of the service and the loss of some of your messages. Monitoring of the service will be expanded to ensure that future outages are rectified promptly.
