[IRTalk] Hilton Gibson passed away

How sad and loss to the Dspace and Open Access community. May his soul rest in eternal peace. I attended a training on Dspace at Stellenbosch and he was such a good facilitator.

it is with great regret that I have to inform you that our Open Access colleague, Hilton Gibson, passed away this morning after a struggle with pancreatic cancer.
Hilton was know for his irreplaceable contribution to the DSpace and Open Access community in South African and the African continent at large.
