Angular 2.0 introduces a number of new features, including better support
for modern browsers and mobile development. The team also moved a lot of
the core functionality into modules that now make it easier to use
third-party libraries in addition to the built-in ones. The team now also
recommends that developers use TypeScript to write their apps. TypeScript
is a Microsoft-developed superset of JavaScript that adds features like
static typing and class-based object-oriented programming.
