[IRTalk] Invitation: ASSAf webinar on online article retractions, 10 March 2016

Dear Colleagues

The number of retracted scholarly articles has risen precipitously in recent years (source<http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0044118>). Digital publishing and the pressure to get out articles as soon possible contributes to this occurrence. The retraction may be initiated by the editors of a journal, or by the author(s) of the papers (or their institution), or by a funder. Version-control, errata, integrity, trust and more are principles that come to mind when working with retractions - no matter which platform is used (journal, repositories, web and more).

ASSAF would like to invite all role players in scholarly publishing to attend the webinar on article retractions:
