Open Harvester Systems - free online workshop

EIFL-FOSS and EIFL-OA are co-organizing a webinar coinciding with Open Access Week 2012<http://www.openaccessweek.org/>. The topic will be providing access across open access journals and open access repositories, with a focus on the free open source Open Harvester Systems<http://www.eifl.net/open-harvester-systems> (OHS) software.

The Open Harvester Systems<http://pkp.sfu.ca/?q=harvester> is a free metadata indexing system developed by the Public Knowledge Project through its federally funded efforts to expand and improve access to research. OHS allows you to create a searchable index of the metadata from Open Archives Initiative (OAI)-compliant repositories such as sites using Open Journal Systems (OJS) or Open Conference Systems (OCS).
