[Duraspace] Submission Workflow

Hi Bravismore,
The Dspace application code automatically generates the first two questions depending on your metadata schema setup, the third question can only be removed using item-submission.xml.  The fields in your metadata schema assoicated with the first two questions are called "automatically elided fields", and the inclusion/exclusion of the following Dublin Core fields in your schema will determine whether the questions are displayed or not:
Question 1: title.alternative
Question 2: data.issued, publisher, identifier.citation
Your metadata schema is defined in the input-forms.xml file - remember to restart Tomcat after you have made changes to the schema.  If you are going to use a XML-editor to edit input-forms.xml then you might consider temporarily commenting out the second line (<!DOCTYPE input-forms >) which is a DSpace specific directive and not standard XML syntax.

Hi All,

I have the initial questions as one of the steps in my collection submission workflow. There are two questions the submitter is posed. I would to get rid of the other question. How do I achieve this? It seems in the item-submission.xml, you can disable the whole "initial questions" step but I only want to omit one question.
