Dear all
Thanks for your enthusiasm and for actively participating in the discussion! All the suggestions have some merit, but to help with the decision I conducted a small survey amongst some of the students and lecturers (across disciplines) with whom I have contact. They prefer the following:
Library Catalogues (Western Cape Libraries)
As I have indicated – this is just for the interim, and once a formal analysis of the web has been conducted it might be listed elsewhere/named differently.

Let’s not under estimate our clients (echoing what Naomi said at our meeting yesterday).
If they do not know what a catalogue/katalogi is they will learn what it is.
I prefer Western Cape Universities Catalogues.

Good morning Colleagues,
I have just renamed the CALICO catalogues entry under Quick Links on the library’s home page to a more meaningful name i.e. Western Cape Universities Catalogues and on the Afrikaans side to read Wes-Kaapse Universiteite Katalogi.
