About the Conference
eResearch focuses on technological platforms and methods that enhance researchers' ability to generate, collect, share, process, analyse, store and retrieve information. All sessions, workshops and posters should support the conference aims. eResearch Africa aims to provide:

*         A catalyst for innovation and collaboration, by bringing together practitioners and researchers from diverse disciplines;
*         A forum to support the development, enhancement, and harmonisation of national, regional, and discipline-specific eResearch services and infrastructures;
*         A showcase for innovative research enabled through these technologies and services.

How much does it cost?
The registration fee of R3000 covers registration for the whole conference, which starts on Sunday 06 to Wednesday, 09 October. A separate set of workshops will take place on Thursday, 10 October 2013, and the cost will be R500.

Where will the conference be held?
The eResearch Africa Conference 2013 will be held at Southern Sun Newlands, Main Road, Newlands, in the Western Cape. The conference opens with registration at 3 p.m. on Sunday 06 October and closes after lunch on Wednesday 10 October 2013. A set of workshops will take place on Thursday, 10 October from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

We will upload the conference programme as soon as it finalised. You can also visit the conference website, http://eresearch.ac.za.
Delegates who wish to showcase aspects of their work or specific products may purchase small booths/desks for exhibit purposes.  These will be in delegate gathering points.  Please contact Penny for details.
