Special registration for selected audiences for the Berlin 10 Open Access Conference, 7-8 November 2012
Stellenbosch University and the Max Planck Society take pleasure in inviting you to register for the Berlin 10 Open Access Conference before general registration opens on the 1st of August 2012. To benefit from this invitation and to secure your space at the Conference because space is limited, please complete the online registration form before general registration opens on the 1st of August 2012. Registration will close on 24 October 2012.

Conference Date: 7-8 November 2012
Cost: ZAR 3 300,00 until 15 Sept. 2012 (thereafter ZAR 4 000,00) - Currency converter<http://www.xe.com/ucc/>
Venue: Wallenberg Research Centre, Stellenbosch Institute for Advanced Study (STIAS), Stellenbosch, South Africa.

Accommodation

Sufficient and safe parking is available at all venues if you wish to rent a car of your own. Most hotels and guest houses also offer shuttle services, and the Conference venue is within walking distance of most of the accommodation venues. Please contact the hotel/guest house directly to make a booking, or for any enquiries you might have.
Visa requirements and other travel information
Every person seeking to enter South Africa must be in possession of a valid passport for travel to South Africa and, where necessary, a visa. Enquiries can be directed to South African diplomatic representatives abroad.
Social Events
Registration includes attendance of the Welcome Reception on 6 November at the Stellenbosch University Conservatoire (require about a shuttle with your hotel/guest house, or take a walk), as well as attendance of the Gala Dinner on 7 November 2012 (transport to be provided). Please indicate on your registration form whether you want to attend the functions.
