The Wellcome Trust has awarded funds to build the corpus to dramatically transform the data citation landscape. The corpus will store asserted data citations from a diverse set of sources and can be used by any community stakeholder. Aggregated references to data across outputs will help the community monitor impact, inform future funding, and improve the dissemination of research.

Join the virtual kick-off and participate in a conversation between DataCite, Wellcome Trust, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, EMBL-EBI, COKI, OpenAIRE, and OpenCitations.

Please register via: https://datacite.zoom.us/webinar/register/6316753163268/WN_Ed3_Bu0bRT-NB4npCPbk-g

If you already have questions for the panelists, feel free to post them here: https://pad.okfn.de/p/Open_Global_Data_Citation_Corpus

You can find more information about the Open Global Data Citation Corpus in the DataCite blog: https://doi.org/10.5438/vjz9-kx84

Please feel free to forward this invitation to your colleagues.

Best regards,
Paul Vierkant
