<a href="http://ahero.uwc.ac.za"><b>African Higher Education Research Online (AHERO</b>)</a>. This was the first Africa-based disciplinary OA repository and began collecting papers back in 2005. It remains active and is managed by a PhD student at the Institute
of Post-School Studies at University of the Western Cape. It has nearly 1,000 research papers focusing on policy, institutional affairs and teaching and learning case studies from African HEIs. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
