<div dir="ltr">Hi All<div><br></div><div>This has been an interesting conversation; we have had difficulty in rolling out mirage2 and have had some significant errors, but it sounds like 5.4 may solve some of these.</div><div><br></div><div>I wanted to also let you know of other means of displaying an IR and its contents.</div><div><br></div><div>We have integrated DSpace with Joomla and you can see the results in the Bergen University College IR BORA: <a href="https://bora.hib.no/">https://bora.hib.no/</a></div><div><br></div><div>This is our most complete CMS integration, but we are working on two others, CollectionPress which is a DSpace (and other system) integration with WordPress, and also we are co-maintaining the Drupal module for DSpace. Both of these we hope to develop more fully this year. Currently we can display assets and metadata within an article/blog post and will be incorporating Browse by and solr search. These have already been implemented in Joomla as you can see in BORA.</div><div><br></div><div>We felt that by using a CMS to display to the public, a lot more functionality can be drawn upon by the CMS and its myriad of extensions, not to mention templating is so much easier and accessible to php developers and css specialists. we are considering designing a webpage interface/landing page of our DSpace repository. We hope this will allow us to make the repository more user friendly, to link the RSS feeds from the main university website + research portal to the IR, and to allow us
to create a new look and feel for the repository without having to pay for the excessive skinning of the DSpace design.<br>
