Please access it at: <a href="http://pilot.meraka.csir.co.za/projects" target="_blank">http://pilot.meraka.csir.co.za/projects</a> . I have also attached a generic plan outline. Angel indicated that if you would like to experiment with a plan of your own (specific for your institution) you could let her have the detail and she'll upload it for you. Unfortunately she cannot brand it for you yet. That is one of the enhancements planned by the DCC. Below is a list of improvements that are planned for next version of the tool:</div><div><ul><li>Institutional branding on exported templates</li><li>Life cycle and review -Introduction of a plan lifecycle to define status (e.g. draft, complete, published), indicate different phases and versions of a plan, Flexible support for different institutional processes, DMP review functionality</li><li>Alerts to notify institutions of support needs, event monitoring</li><li>Ability to create a new template based on existing one.</li><li>API development - Harvest metadata from DMPonline, export DMP's to collate a library of plans, integration with other university systems, generate stats and mine content.</li><li>Locale-aware support</li><li>Import a plan</li></ul></div><div>So here are the planned deadline dates: </div><div><br></div><div>Release the pilot testing version of the tool to the community: 18 February 2016</div><div>Branding the tool as DIRISA rather than DCC: ASAP</div><div>Stress testing of the pilot tool: 19 Feb to end March 2016 (all comments and requests to Angel Shozi)</div><div>Stress testing by researchers: Mid-March to end April 2016 (all comments to Angel Shozi)</div><div>Release of the first DIRISA/ national version of the tool: May 2016</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Please note:</strong> National does not mean you HAVE to use it. It means it is there for anyone in the country that does not have their own DMP-tool installed. Any tool that will be developed (to support data stewardship) on the central infrastructure needs to be open and replicate-able so that you would be able to take a copy and install it at your own institution if you wish.
