I'm forwarding on the below note from Darcy Dapra of the Google
Scholar team regarding DSpace 5.x sites. Currently, we have a
small bug which can cause the list of authors to be out-of-order
in the Google Scholar metadata. This bug was accidentally
introduced in DSpace 5.x and does not affect earlier versions. It
only affects the metadata which is harvested by Google Scholar,
and not the author listing in the DSpace user interface itself. <br>
<br>
We are planning on a 5.4 release in the near future (likely
sometime in November) which will resolve this issue (and a few
other bugs). In the meantime, there is a patch which would allow
you to immediately fix this issue on your 5.x site
(<a href="https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/999" target="_blank">https://github.com/DSpace/DSpace/pull/999</a>). <br>

have an error in generation of machine-readable
bibliographic metadata for indexing. This error causes the
list of authors to be reordered (see <a href="https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-2679" target="_blank"></a><a href="https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-2679" target="_blank">https://jira.duraspace.org/browse/DS-2679</a> for
details). Google Scholar isn't able to index repositories
with this error.</div>

applying this patch. This would make the authors happier
