<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:10.5pt;font-family:"Century Gothic","sans-serif"">UNESCO – during a consultative forum at the beginning of the year – invited countries to work with them on national OA policies for selected African countries. ASSAf
 has indicated that they would like to participate with UNESCO in developing a national SA OA Policy (slides 29-30). A concept proposal has been drafted, and the Committee for Scholarly Publishing in South Africa (CSPiSA) (to which the ASSAf Scholarly Publishing
 Unit reports), has approved this.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
