<p class="MsoNormal">This Thursday (24 Oct), as part of our <a href="openuct.uct.ac.za/events/open-access-week-2013">
Open Access Week events</a>, we’re hosting a panel discussion from 12-2 in the L Classroom, RW James Building (Physics), UCT Upper Campus. Entitled “<a href="http://openuct.uct.ac.za/events/open-access-week-2013-event-out-cold-accessing-scholarly-resources-beyond-ivory-tower">Out
in the cold: accessing scholarly resources beyond the ivory tower</a>”, the event will focus on challenges of access to knowledge outside of the university environment.

<p class="MsoNormal">We have speakers from Rape Crisis, Siyavula and UCT’s Knowledge Co-op on the panel. So, you can expect a diverse and interesting discussion from these different perspectives, followed by questions and comments from the floor (and pizza
