This <span style="font-style:italic">Guide</span> defines the policies associated with the Harvard University Library (HUL) Digital Repository Service (DRS) and is intended for Harvard collection managers who are using or considering making use of DRS services. The term "Collection manager" is intended to identify a role rather than a specific individual and it is understood that over time many individuals will play this role for a collection.</p>

Oversight responsibility for the DRS is exercised by the University Library Council (ULC). Management of DRS operations is the responsibility of staff in the HUL Office for Information Systems (OIS).</p></div></div>
