 Theme: Community Over Commercialisation
Hosted by Stellenbosch University Library and Information Service, this year's theme, "Community over Commercialisation", underscores the essential role of equitable access to research and knowledge for all.  It highlights the responsibility of institutions and scholars in advancing open access practices that foster inclusivity and collaboration.
Stellenbosch University encourages the academic and research communities to champion initiatives that prioritise open access, enhance collaboration and improve scholarly publishing services, over the subscription-based journals that create barriers to knowledge sharing.
Whether you are new to the open access movement or a long-time supporter, we are confident that there will be valuable insights for everyone. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the latest trends, exchange ideas and contribute to shaping the future of open scholarship.
