Greetings from the HSRC and hope you are well.



The Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) unit in the Human Sciences Research
Council (HSRC) is responsible for curating and disseminating the data sets
produced by our researchers. Both quantitative and qualitative data sets
are available.



Characteristics of the data sets are that:

·       The data is of good quality

·       The data sets are longitudinal and repeated cross-sectional – this
allows for trend analysis

·       Data sets are free of charge

·       They save you time and effort



In addition to the curation and dissemination, we track the data set
downloads every quarter and provide a report to the Department of Science
and Innovation (DSI) on the targets reached.



It would be very much appreciated if you would consider promoting the HSRC
data sets to your students or consider including them in any of your
courses where data might be required for secondary use and/or analysis.



We have created a short communication piece (attached) to explain the value
of the HSRC’s data sets and how to access these.  You are very welcome to
share it with a wider audience.

the data sets (or any issues experienced accessing them), please contact
