Please see below information on a vacancy for a Data Curation Officer at UCT Libraries

UCT Libraries seeks to appoint a Data Curation Officer in the Digital Library Services team. The primary purpose of this post is to support and enhance the digital scholarship and digital preservation activities at UCT Libraries. The incumbent will collaborate across departments in the Libraries and UCT to develop and actively maintain workflows and tools that facilitate faculty and staff use of various digital data publishing and preservation platforms. They will assist in the management and ingest of multimedia data files identified in digital projects and ensure the stewardship of digital information, as required, in line with current and emerging best practises and standards in data curation and research data management (RDM).
