Dear Colleagues

Institutions who do not subscribe to Elsevier databases, but would like to have access to the bibliometrics of records/research published, can do so via APIs at https://dev.elsevier.com/sc_apis.html and https://dev.elsevier.com/

"Anyone can obtain an API Key and use the APIs free of charge, provided that our policies for using APIs and the data are honored. Clients without subscriptions have access to limited basic metadata for most publications and citation records, as well as to basic search functionality."

This site, https://dev.elsevier.com, is for developers looking to get programmatic access to:

  *   journals and books published by Elsevier on ScienceDirect<https://www.sciencedirect.com/> full-text platform;
  * citation data and abstracts from virtually all relevant scholarly journals, as indexed by Scopus<https://www.scopus.com/>, Elsevier's citation database.
  * research metrics available on SciVal<https://www.scival.com/>, Elsevier's platform for research performance benchmarking.
  * engineering resources available on Engineering Village<https://www.engineeringvillage.com/>.
  * curated abstracts, indices and other metadata indexed by Embase<https://www.embase.com/>, Elsevier's biomedical abstract and indexing database.
Kind regards
Ina (on behalf of the AOSP Project Team)
