[IRTalk] WACREN Annual Conference on 14-15 March 2019 - Call for Papers

WACREN is organizing its 5th Annual Conference on 14-15 March 2019 in Accra, hosted by the Ghanaian Academic and Research Network (GARNET).

The theme of the conference is: "Beyond Networks: Applications and Services".

An excellent opportunity to engage with NRENs on data sharing, storage, and advanced analysis and other computing needs.

This is a call for papers for the conference. Interested authors are invited to submit abstracts (500-600 words) on the following or related subjects:

i)        Applications and Services (Cloud Services and Collaboration Tools, Trust and Identity, Cybersecurity)
ii)      User and Science Engagement
iii)     Teaching and Learning
iv)     NREN Business Models and Use Cases
v)       Advanced Network Technologies

The schedule (deadlines) is as follows:

1. Submission of abstracts: 7 December 2018
2. Notification of acceptance to authors: 21 December 2018
3. Submission of full papers: 22 February 2019
4. Submission of presentations: 1 March 2019

All documents must be submitted online<https://indico.wacren.net/event/71/call-for-abstracts/submit> through the conference website

For authors of selected papers who are not able to get full or partial sponsorship from their organizations to attend the conference, support may be provided for travel or accommodation, subject to availability of resources (for maximum one author per paper).
