International Data Week (IDW2018)<http://internationaldataweek.org/> is upon us, and we are looking forward meeting many of you from 5 to 8 November 2018 in Gaborone, Botswana! In addition to the above, AOSP is one of the five conference partners (along with CODATA, RDA, UB and WDS), and served on the programme/organising committee for IDW2018. A huge number of speakers have benefitted from AOSP funding to make attendance at IDW2018 possible.
IDW2018 will not only highlight the work done in terms of open science and open data in Africa and globally - it will also create great opportunities for networking and collaboration, working together in taking African science into the future along with science from other continents.
