[IRTalk] 2018 Events on Open Science, Open Data, Open Research

We would like to invite you to please share events on institutional, national or continental level with us, for adding to the AOSP events web page<http://africanopenscience.org.za/?page_id=53>. Through this page we would like to create an awareness of all the activities on our continent (in terms of policy, infrastructure, capacity building, incentives). Information on the various initiatives and the people involved, will help us form a collective view to inform the project, and to advise on the way forward. Please email to ina at assaf.org.za<mailto:ina at assaf.org.za>, and I will gladly add the event, date/s and link to the event.

Our planning meeting for Year 2 of the project is coming up soon (6 Dec. 2017), and we will be discussing events for 2018, with the focus on capacity building. More on our plans and the outcomes of the discussions later in December, following the meetings.

We are very much thankful to our stakeholders for inviting us to be part of many high-level events during the past year, and will continue building on the relationships already established. A special thank you to all, and we value our partnerships.
