[IRTalk] Our African IRs - enhancements

Dear Colleagues

We really urgently need to enhance our IRs using DSpace, allowing ORCID integration, as well as a tool such as Altmetrics.com.

Did anybody have success with integrating the above? Would be super if we can get some programmers to work on the above, and then donate the code to the DSpace community. Leti Kleyn (UP) also expressed the very urgent need for ORCID.

One a bit limited in terms of accommodating social media at this stage, but at least in future we will try add the hashtags for individual docs. The fracking report will be released soon, and will be a great test for openness, ASSAf, impact, visibility, citations etc. Would like to monitor all ..... See http://hdl.handle.net/20.500.11911/14

Really super important that the final report be shared once available - for now only uploading the media releases building up interest and momentum .... Exciting experiment!
