More and more SA universities also exploring this route. Through IRs and an OJ service they can protect their own. They have after all huge IT infrastructures in place, authors, editors and reviewers are employed by these universities, libraries can assist with the metadata quality and making research more visible and measuring the impact. Therefore universities are perfectly positioned.
