Access to information forms the basis of the LIS Transformation Charter. One of its key elements is to make available sufficient bandwidth/Internet for all, so that all can benefit equally, and empower themselves, trying to eliminate inequalities of the past.

The City of Tshwane makes available 500MB a day per Internet user, free of charge.
