Stellenbosch University (SU)'s reputation as one of the foremost
research-intensive universities in the world received a big boost today
(Tuesday, 15 September 2015) with the announcement of the Quacquarelli
Symonds (QS) World University Rankings 2015/2016.

*According to the rankings, SU now ranks at 302 – moving up a full 88
places from its previous position at 390 in 2014.* In terms of the QS
ranking, SU is now 2nd in South Africa (and in Africa) after being placed
3rd in 2014.
