>From 2012 we introduced a new transparent pricing mechanism which ensures
that we take full account of the growth and impact of Open Access (OA)
content, and its ‘funder/author pays’ revenue.* This ensures that we do not
receive an article publication charge (APC) for the article to be open
access, and then subscription income for the same article.*
