Webinar: LIASA Professional Status - what does it mean?, 18 June 2015, 10:00-11:00
On 9 Feb. 2015 the President of LIASA - Segametsi Molawa (2014-2016) - announced the recognition of LIASA as a professional body and the registration of the professional designation, Professional Librarian.
Annamarie Goosen, LIASA Office Manager, will be presenting a webinar and explain what it means, and what the implications of it will be for LIASA and for you personally.

Target audience: All librarians.

LIASA members please register by 17 June - click here<http://www.liasa-new.org.za/conference/index.php/liasa/lps/schedConf/registration> and follow the online registration wizard to complete the online form. Please use the Username and Password created the first time you have logged in to LIASA Events<http://www.liasa-new.org.za/event-management/>. If never, please follow the instructions below.
IMPORTANT:

1.    If this is the first time you will be working on the LIASA Events<http://www.liasa-new.org.za/event-management/> system, you will be prompted to create a personal profile (only created once - you will never be required to create one again as long as your profile is not deleted).

2.    You will be prompted to enter a CAPTCHA code<http://www.captcha.net/> (for security purposes). Please type the exact characters displayed. The system will display an error message at the top if entered incorrectly, after which you will be given more tries until correct. Thanks for your patience.

3.    Once a profile has been created, all future registrations will be very simple. Please remember your username and password for future events presented via LIASA Events. All future events will be organised through this system, which is important for proper governance. Thank you.
