Dear Colleagues
15 SA organisations have signed the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Sciences and Humanities<http://openaccess.mpg.de/Berlin-Declaration> up to date, and some plan to do so during Open Access Week<http://www.sparc.arl.org/initiatives/openaccessweek> to be celebrated internationally 19-25 October 2015 Theme: "Open for Collaboration".
To become a signatory:
1. Institutional management (VC Research) email the Max Planck Society, and request that the institution's name be added to the list of signatories. One or two sentences are perfectly fine.
Email: open-access at mpdl.mpg.de<mailto:open-access at mpdl.mpg.de>
2. The Max Planck Society will add the institution's name to the online list at http://openaccess.mpg.de/3883/Signatories
3. You can have a local ceremony during which a document can be signed (something the institution compiled themselves - no need to submit anything to Max Planck Society).
