[Irtalk] UT’s New Library Director Wants to Make Information More Free | The Alcalde

Haricombe, who grew up in South Africa, began her term as vice provost and
director of libraries on Feb. 1. She joins UT from the University of
Kansas, where she led the creation of the first faculty-led open access
policy at a public university in the U.S. *And as she explained in a
conversation with the Alcalde, she hopes to bring the open access movement
to the Forty Acres.*
