[Irtalk] Notification of recently added collections - Rhodes University

The following three collections are now available digitally on the Rhodes
Digital Commons, made available by Rhodes Library Services together with
Cory Library for Humanities Research. Although of immediate interest to the
Rhodes University environment, these collections may be of interest to
students of journalism as well as some other disciplines:

 

Rhodes Newspapers: Activate

Activate, Rhodes University's Independent Student Newspaper, originally
established in 1947 as Rhodeo. The digital archive spans the issues

Rhodes Newspapers: Rhodeo

Rhodeo was established in 1947, and renamed in 1994 as Activate. During
apartheid Rhodeo became an active part of the struggle for freedom of
expression as part of the now defunct South African Student Press Union. The
digital archive spans the issues published between 1939 and 1995. Access the
