[Irtalk] Impact of OA - mini impact study with some examples

Experts are in agreement that - as applied to performance management - altmetrics incl. downloads should also be taken into account, and not only citations. Also have a look at impactstory.org

An interesting question was on how can researchers protect themselves and their research integrity against unfounded criticism etc. - especially in an OA environment where anybody can just publish anything.
