Situated across three campuses in the heart of a vibrant student city,
Nottingham Trent University is one of the UK's most innovative

redevelopment project to transform the physical infrastructure of the three
campus library sites, highlighting the University's commitment to providing
exceptional learning facilities. The three campus libraries act as focal
points for the academic community.

The University is currently looking to appoint a new Head of Library and
Learning Resources. Reporting to the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic), this
individual will be responsible for providing strategic leadership for the
University's library services and learning resources function, thereby
ensuring the provision of first-class learning facilities in support of
students and staff. Utilising extensive knowledge of the library services
sector, the Head of Library and Learning Resources will ensure that the
University's library is well-positioned to anticipate and respond
effectively to emerging challenges in a range of areas such as open access
publishing, new technologies, social media and pedagogical changes.
