Dear Colleagues
 
One of the University of Pretoria, Department of Information Science's
second year students Josua Goodman, has won the 2011 Sparky Awards prize
for BEST LIVE ACTION! His video will be highlighted in a new
announcement for the 2011 Sparky Awards and featured on the Sparky
website. The Sparky Awards are organized by SPARC (
http://www.arl.org/sparc/ ), the Scholarly Publishing and Academic
Resources Coalition, who promote the universal benefits of sharing ideas
of all kinds.  ( http://www.arl.org/sparc/ ) 
The SPARKY Awards http://www.sparkyawards.org/ is a video contest to
showcase students' call for Open access.
