nominations for the position of Data Services Librarian/Specialist (non-tenure<br>
track). Candidates are expected to have demonstrated experience with<br>
supporting and/or conducting data analytical research in an academic or<br>
business environment. Requirements of the job include leading the collection,<br>
analysis, and visualization of digital data for research and teaching, and<br>
collaborating with colleagues on the creation of a suite of data services for<br>
faculty and students. Other responsibilities include serving as a library<br>
liaison to selected academic departments including Engineering and Information<br>
Technology, and providing research support to Library clients. A bachelor’s<br>
degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or other field with technical<br>
or quantitative orientation is preferred, but this position is open to<br>
applicants of all subject backgrounds and specializations. A Masters or Ph.D.<br>
in Library and Information Science, or related field, is strongly preferred.<br>
This position reports to the Library’s Associate Dean for Information<br>
Services.<br>

ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position<br>
requires the employee to be a professing Christian and be an active, faithful<br>
member of a congregation of the Churches of Christ.<br>
