Library 2.014, our fourth annual conference, was a huge success and we hope you had a chance to participate live! But if not, the recordings are all posted on the conference site, AND we have a special post-conference “keynote” tonight with Michael Stephens--information superstar and Assistant Professor at the SJSU School of Information--at 7pm US-Eastern Time. As a previous conference keynote, Michael’s session this year was hampered by a connectivity issue, so he’ll be live tonight:

“Finding Balance: Reflective Practice and the Profession” with Dr. Michael Stephens
Reflective practice is mindfulness to the nth degree. Information professionals should be thoughtful about the decisions they make, about the projects they take on, and about how we put ourselves out there in the online world. We must always keep working to be there, to be present, to be at the edge of what’s happening, and to be very visible while focusing on people, not technology, not the collection. Those are merely tools.
LINK: join us at https://sas.elluminate.com/d.jnlp?sid=2008350&password=LIB2014Part121
