<div dir="ltr">The Academic Applications team is looking to invest in a talented and dynamic System Administrator/Applications Analyst who is seeking a new challenge within a complex and diverse applications group. You will be working with a number of applications that run on Windows and/or Linux operating systems and are based on server technologies such as Apache, IIS, Tomcat, SQL, Web Services (HTTP, HTTPS, XML) and TCP/IP networking protocols. Experience of either SQL Server or Oracle application database back-end is also desirable. A particular focus will be on supporting the server back-end for systems like the virtual learning environment (e.g. Blackboard, Moodle), lecture capture system (e.g. Echo360), examination software (e.g. Speedwell, Questionmark Perception), institutional repository and library systems (e.g. DSpace).<div>
