 Dear all,

*Past issues of IPN now available*

IFLA is very happy to announce that all remaining past issues of
theInternational
Preservation News
<http://www.ifla.org/publications/international-preservation-news> (IPN)
have been digitised by the Preservation and Conservation Centre at the
Library of Congress. IFLA would like to thank the Library of Congress for
digitising these early editions of IPN and making them available to IFLA.
The IPN archive of over 60 past issues is now complete and freely available
online. We encourage everyone to re-discover these past issues of IPN
<http://www.ifla.org/publications/international-preservation-news?og=32>,
an important series that was published by IFLA for over 25 years with
regular contributions from PAC Regional Centres. IPN ceased publication in
December 2013. The IFLA Journal is picking up the mandate of IPN and will
publish an issue dedicated to Cultural Heritage in its 3rd volume of 2015.

*IFLA Journal submissions on Cultural Heritage*

IFLA would also like to remind you that the IFLA Journal
<http://www.ifla.org/publications/ifla-journal> will be releasing a special
issue on Cultural Heritage in its 3rd volume in 2015. A call for submissions
<http://www.ifla.org/node/9196> went out last November, but there is still
time to contribute. Articles for this special issue should be submitted to
IFLA Journal for peer review before *30 April 2015.*

*WLIC 2015 Call for papers*

Furthermore, the IFLA Preservation and Conservation Strategic Programme is
holding a Session at IFLA WLIC 2015 with the topic of Developing a stronger
network for preservation and conservation in Africa to enable effective
responses to natural disasters and man-made conflicts. A Call for Papers
<http://conference.ifla.org/ifla81/node/1035> was announced last week; the
proposal submission deadline is *6 March 2015.*

Any queries on the topics above should be sent to Julia Brungs(
Julia.brungs at ifla.org).
