The Zimbabwe University Libraries Consortium (ZULC) members, who are
University Librarians strongly feel that librarians can provide the
strategies and tools to help researchers make the most of a vast amount of
information. One of the strategies is to intensify Information Literacy
training programmes. *Librarians can teach effective information seeking
techniques, including how to use controlled vocabularies, how to evaluate
information on the web, & how to complement web-based resources with print
resources.*
