In 2014, the

University of Cape Town’s Library and Information Studies Centre
(LISC) *celebrates
75 years as an academic department*. To mark the anniversary, LISC will be
hosting a two-day conference that will feature some of the leading scholars
from a range of backgrounds and disciplines.

These scholars will lead the discourse on LIS Education; LIS Research;
Change & Dynamics and the Information Landscape
