Reporting to the Dean of Libraries, the Head of Assessment, Planning, &
Scholarly Communication will provide leadership and vision for IIT
Libraries' assessment and scholarly communication initiatives that inform
library strategic planning and organizational effectiveness. This position
will initiate and lead IIT Libraries' partnerships with researchers,
students, and scholars in the creation of a scholarly communications
program. In collaboration with administrators and staff throughout the
Libraries, this position will develop, facilitate, and implement successful
and sustainable assessment programs in order to enhance existing services,
collections, and space as well as identify the need for new services,
collections, or space, both physical and virtual.
