Perhaps something like "Networked Scholarship: Regional and Global Participation in Open Access" would be more concise and highlight the varying scale and scope of "networked scholarship". </div><div><br></div><div>For Sub-theme 3, it may be important to add OA and Culture. There is often a tendency to think of the economic benefits of OA but the cultural and heritage aspects of OA are equally important. For example, what would OA means for the "African Renaissance" movement? </div><div><br></div><div>Regarding sub-theme 4, this seems to be a mix bag. Interoperability is a technical issue, while assessment and metrics are policy issues. It is important to keep them distinct.
